Why should the real be visible?

The new creation JAIL, set to premiere at the end of summer 2025 and begin touring in 2026, is built around a cross-border co-production.

It follows in the footsteps of TINA and continues to explore the necessity of personal transformation — beyond fear and certainty.

By blending object theatre and circus arts, JAIL invites audiences on a journey beyond borders and barriers — whether visible or invisible, externally imposed or self-constructed. This piece delves into our flaws and our fears, challenging what seems obvious and opening space for new imaginaries and other possibilities.

Performed in a physical, wordless language reminiscent of fable, within a scenography that shifts between the rigidity of confinement and the fluidity of nature, the performers will reveal and embody what is beautiful and shared in a dreamed — or perhaps not so imaginary — world.

JAIL is structured around the concept of repetition, using a dramaturgical framework inspired by childhood tales, translated into the writing of bodies and objects through a constant movement from the micro to the macro.

The ambition of this new creation is to explore the delicate balance between technique, object manipulation, and the human presence — through highly refined, precise writing that draws on imagery, sound, voice, and the movement of bodies.
