The Child who
How to put words to a silent work that comes from the heart of humanity, an unspeakable memory?
“l’Enfant qui…” is inspired by the early years of the life of sculptor Jephan de Villiers.
The vision, all sensibility and poetry, of a child who faces an earth, a humanity endlessly scorned by man.
On the edge between the real world and imagination in a game of constant appearance/disappearance where the narrative is to be discovered through the experience of this child, long considered incompatible with the world!
Two versions of the same content (in the round) are proposed:
The Child who was created in July 2008 at the festival “Zomer van Antwerpen”.
– Version “tent” for 170 spectators
