ALASKA

We all come from a forgetful world, and many of us will leave
it the same way.

Alaska is a multidisciplinary show mixing diverse practices like play, movement, music, vocals (operatic and others), acrobatics, puppetry, fine arts and sculpture to express the diversity and complexity of the real world onstage.

 

This complexity, found whenever we speak of the human brain,specifically memory, it’s troubles, it’s holes, and it’s loss that comes to suspend reality.

 

Like Homeric bards who sang the epic poems of memory, we now understand that music manages to touch some landscapes where nothing is forgotten.

 

How to free another type of memory?

 

The music becomes essential with a power like no other to take ourselves and others, at least for an instant.
